Many people have had to go through difficult moments in life, it is said that all crisis help people to be stronger, wiser and humble; it is also said that after every crisis, it comes a blessing or that crisis should be taken not as crisis but as opportunities to improve or achieve better things in life.

For example politics is something that many people don’t like and something that they’re not interest in, however in the government it is taken the most important decisions that affect and will affect your life and your children’s lives for good or for bad, reading about what you can do to participate in politics as a citizen or how to help your community is something that you should know. What if someone who won’t help the citizenship or the country wins the elections? Another example is what would happen if you go to jail being innocent? You should know your rights and know a little about the law of your country so you can defend yourself, (know about the things your lawyer could do for you), or know what’s illegal and what isn’t.

A bible quote says: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” Hosea 4:6; and it is well known that religions and governments have been able to manipulate people and keep them submitted through ignorance.

I know it’s difficult to spend all the time reading because you have the burden of the bills and need money and you just can’t sit to read the whole day and see how much time is passing and you still don’t get a job; but I think it’s a good way to spend your time once you had finished of looking for job offers and had applied to them.
