Many people have had to go through difficult moments in life, it is said that all crisis help people to be stronger, wiser and humble; it is also said that after every crisis, it comes a blessing or that crisis should be taken not as crisis but as opportunities to improve or achieve better things in life.

Reading is a good way to spend your free time because you can learn a lot of things in fields that you’re interested in, related to your profession or career or things that you might be not interested in so much but that it’d be good that you learn something about it. Some people don’t like reading but reading is an amazing way to open your mind, to get knowledge and therefore be freer.

For example politics is something that many people don’t like and something that they’re not interest in, however in the government it is taken the most important decisions that affect and will affect your life and your children’s lives for good or for bad, reading about what you can do to participate in politics as a citizen or how to help your community is something that you should know. What if someone who won’t help the citizenship or the country wins the elections? A good Plato quote says: “One of the penalties for refusing to participate in Politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors”.

Another example is what would happen if you go to jail being innocent? You should know your rights and know a little about the law of your country so you can defend yourself, (know about the things your lawyer could do for you), or know what’s illegal and what isn’t.

A bible quote says: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” Hosea 4:6; and it is well known that religions and governments have been able to manipulate people and keep them submitted through ignorance.

I know it’s difficult to spend all the time reading because you have the burden of the bills and need money and you just can’t sit to read the whole day and see how much time is passing and you still don’t get a job; but I think it’s a good way to spend your time once you had finished of looking for job offers and had applied to them.

This way is good because you can earn some money and that’s a lot of help  since you live alone, because it could help you with your bills and what you need, or if you live with someone else because you won’t be feel as if you were a burden.
